David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. With its animated gestures and funny videos of celebrities' chatter, his program is now America's top-rated newscast. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the main substitute anchor for the anchor who was his predecessor Diane Sawyer. ABC News has broadcast many specials during primetime, with including the most recent one, Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's traveled all over the globe to report on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honors and awards by the Associated Press.
